velocitygirlIt's when they lift her out of the bacta tank, and she doesn't wake up in the time given that makes them worry. It's also when they're going to rewrap her blaster wound with bacta patches that they really begin to worry.
"Oh...shavit." one of the nurses mutters, looking down at the wound and back up at another nurse. "That's...not good."
"No..." The other nurse wrinkles her brow and carefully places her gloved hand on the skin next to the open wound. "It's hot. And red. And--"
"What would infect her in bacta?" The first nurse mutters worriedly. "Shavit." She threw down the new bacta patches. "Shavit!"
Everything on Inyri is washed. New clothes, new bacta patches, everything. She's moved to a clean room for the time being until they cleanse the bacta tanks. She's put on an IV antibiotics, an IV for nutrients, an IV for blood (just in case), and oxygen. She looks even worse than before.
But she's alive.
There is that.
Regretfully, one of the nurses puts a notice on the clean room window. NO ADMITTANCE is what it says. Sighing, she moves to go find where Janson and Nelprin went. So they don't freak when Inyri's room and lab are empty.
