Inyri needs to get stuff so she can start moving everything into her house on Corellia. Moving forward. Moving on.

It's the only reason she's upstairs, by herself, in a hallway. She's got her blaster (and she's not afraid to use it...hopefully), and she's got a box of stuff.

Since she's moving.


Stuff is required.

The blaster is completely unnecessary.

Because, really, if he's quiet (and he is) it's all too easy to glide up behind, disarming her and wrapping a slim hand around her mouth in fluid, economical movements.

She freezes and drops the box of stuff. Luckily nothing valuable is in it, or she'd be pissed later. Just some clothes and some books.


She bites his hand.

He rolls his eyes and leans forward, biting her ear.

"Don't do that."

She makes a noise at the bite, and her hands fly to his hand at her mouth to prise it away. "Don't be a bastard." She says, once she gets the hand far enough away.

"Can't help it," he says, smirking.

"Born that way."

She turns around, ducking under his arm before letting go of his hand. "Yeah. I can see how that happened. Feel sorry for your mother."

Her hand darts out for her blaster.

He holds it high above his head, where she can't reach.

"You would have liked her." They were both spice whores, see.

She glares, and pushes him against the wall, leaning close. "You always have to start stuff, Zekka. Give me the blaster."

"Let's not be hypocritical, princess. You're the one that came to me, remember?"

An arm wraps around her waist while the blaster stays above their heads.

"No."

"When I was seventeen!" She snaps. "I was minding my own business here, sweetheart."

She slams her heel into his foot, hoping to make him falter in holding the blaster up.

Almost, but not quite, Inyri. All that happens is the tightening of his arm around her.

"Play nice, dear."

"Darling," Inyri purrs, eyes narrowed dangerously. "I am being nice."

His hand slips into her back pocket.

"Are you, now?"

"Your arm will tire eventually." She says, reaching around and removing his hand from her pocket.

"But what if one of your friends stumbles upon you and I? They might get the wrong impression."

His eyes glint. "Though who knows? That might be the right one."

She rolls her eyes. "Right. They'd get the impression you were holding me against my will, and then quite possibly kill you. And I wouldn't stop them."

"But what," he questions, fingers playing with the edge of her shirt, "if you were just slipping?"

She glances down at his fingers, her shirt, then back up at him, cocking an eyebrow. In a silent the kriff you doing?

His gaze meets her. Why aren't you stopping me?

Or maybe it's more of a How far will you let me go before I have to take it?

Her hands go to his fingers, stilling them. "Don't."

A twist of the wrist, and he's got her fingers trapped in his. He tugs her even closer, until the space between their bodies is practically nonexistent.

A hand goes out behind him, bracing herself on the wall, the other hand trapped. "Zekka." She snaps. "Don't."

He leans his head down, a brush of lips and maybe teeth against her cheek.

"Sure?"

She turns her head, slightly, towards his, unconsciously. Before jerking back. "Positive."

"Then you don't get the blaster back," he says, slightly smugly.
